Red Bull Stunts

An Austrian skydiver has completed a remarkable stunt, somersaulting from one glider to another while traveling at 100mph. Paul Steiner, from Salzburg, climbed out of the cockpit, walked along the wing and then front rolled onto a second glider that was traveling underneath it.
The daredevil then moved onto the main fuselage of the second glider, while the first glider turned upside down and flew overhead. This allowed Steiner to reach up and grab the tail fin, forming a link between the two aircraft s.
Steiner then completed the stunt by skydiving off the glider, which was flying over 2000 metres above Austria.
The incredible stunt was carried out by the Red Bull skydive team.

Cleanliness is next to evilness

Excessive cleanliness in modern homes has led to a steep rise in allergies, a new report indicated. The conditions have become increasingly widespread in developed countries with hay fever, eczema, hives and asthma on the rise. The study, by Guy Delespesse, a professor at the University of Montreal Faculty of Medicine, linked the trend to the sterile environment created by the cleaning habits. “The more sterile the environment a child lives in, the higher the risk he or she will develop allergies or an immune problem in their lifetime,” says Prof Delespesse.

Accident prone

A farm worker, Mick Wilary, who is thought to be one of Britain’s most accident prone men has been injured again.
In the latest in a long line of injury mishaps, the 58 year-old is recovering in hospital after his legs were crushed under a JCB. It follows breaks to both ankles, after he fell over a potato, and cracking his head open by tripping over a cat. He has also fallen out of a raised bucket of a JCB, and was left with a broken collar bone when the horse he was riding got spooked by a plastic bag. In total the grandfather-of-two has racked up more than 30 injuries, including 15 broken bones.

Asleep on the flight

A British academic who fell asleep during a flight woke up in an aircraft hangar after cabin crew mistakenly left him on the plane. Kris Lines, a lecturer in sports law at Staffordshire University, was woken up by a surprised mechanic 90 minutes after his flight landed in Vancouver, where he was due to speak at an international conference.
He had fought to stay awake during his 22 hour journey from Birmingham to Calgary via Heathrow, drinking Coca Cola to ensure he did not fall asleep and miss the connecting flight to Vancouver. Once safely on the last leg of his journey, he fell into a deep sleep.

Lethargic Leader

A cast of young pupils were left in tears after their town’s mayor fell asleep in the audience as they performed a school musical. Children at Vale First and Middle School in Worthing, West Sussex, were excited to be entertaining Mayor Noel Atkins and his wife Helena at their production of Bugsy Malone. However, the budding actors’ confidence was crushed when their guests of honour dozed off within minutes of curtains up on their rendition of the gangster story.
Some of the actors, aged 11, were left sobbing during the interval, believing that the couple’s attitude was a reflection of their performance. Parents condemned Atkins’s behavior as “appalling”.
